Priorities

  • Mental Health and Addiction

Secure access to mental health and crisis services and ensure funding for more inpatient/rehab facilities for those struggling with addiction.

What I’ve done: Chaired the Regional Opioid Council directing more than $49M in funding for substance use prevention, treatment, harm reduction, recovery, and criminal justice programs in Arapahoe County.

  • Equitable Housing

Remove barriers to and expand funding for local governments to build more affordable housing, stabilize rents, and prevent homelessness.

What I’ve done: Fought for Littleton's inclusive housing ordinance, which passed in 2022, mandating 5% of any new housing development as affordable.

  • The Arts

Expand arts programs across the state to heal trauma, build meaningful connection within communities, and foster economic vibrancy.

What I’ve done: Advocated for the lodger’s tax in Littleton, which passed in 2022, generating close to 1M in funding to support the Littleton Museum, Bemis Library, Town Hall Arts Center and other arts and culture programs in Littleton.

  • Small Business

Make it easier for individuals to start their own business in Colorado, creating a diverse economy.

What I’ve done: Helped formalize the Littleton business community by allocating resources and money to the Littleton Business Chamber and Littleton Downtown Development Authority.
